It's time to kick off our first migration season, which itself is a prelude to our first breeding season! This is an exciting time when Lupras with wanderlust seek out new homes. Lupras set out alone or in small bands to journey to distant lands or explore the unknown! The purpose of migrations are several; to reduce population pressure on an island, to meet new Lupras (and the possibility of a new mate!), or to claim your own territory.
At present all of the owned Lupras reside on one of three public islands (Caldera Peak, Central Bounty and Wraith), (Check the database if you're unsure where your Lupra is located) and can chose to migrate to one of the other public islands or attempt to found their own private island.
When considering if and where to migrate, remember that you will only be able to breed with Lupras on the same island as yours!
We'll be running two waves of migrations, if you have your form in by Saturday November 12 @5:00 PM CST you will be eligible to migrate in the first wave Polar Bear Swim. If your migration fails (It's possible!), or you change your mind a second form may be submitted for the second wave the following week.
All migration forms must be posted in this thread no later than November 19 @ 5:00 PM CST
If you want to see what lupras (potential mates!) are currently on which islands to organize with other owners for the upcoming breeding season, use the search function at the top of each page. Type in the name of your island to see which other lupras are there!
Additional details on our Island and Migration system are available at the Lupra website, and please feel free to ask any questions you might have!
